At Reef Life Survey Europe, we are a team of ocean enthusiasts deeply committed to the study and conservation of marine life. With over a decade of experience dedicated to Europe's coastlines, our mission is to explore, understand, and protect the valuable coastal ecosystems of Europe, promoting the conservation of marine biodiversity and the well-being of the communities that depend on them.

As the European branch of the global Reef Life Survey program, we drive innovative research projects and forge strategic collaborations with institutions to deepen our knowledge of the surrounding marine biodiversity. However, our work doesn’t stop there. We firmly believe in the power of citizen participation: therefore, we train communities in the rigorous scientific methodology of Reef Life Survey, empowering them to become active protagonists in marine monitoring and conservation — shaping a network of global change.

Furthermore, we consider education and awareness to be fundamental pillars for the future protection of our oceans. A significant part of our efforts focuses on knowledge transfer. Through the research we generate and the training we provide, we aim to inspire society to take action, to recognize the crucial importance of coastal ecosystems, and to drive transformative changes toward a more sustainable and resilient coast.
